I am 38 yrs and live in The Netherlands. My work is in arts education. My name here is a kind of fusion of my first name and the word "gabber". A "gabber" is slang for "mate" as well as the name for someone who is extremely fond of hardcore house music (200 bpm and with a very stomping bassline). I am interested in a wide variety of things and subjects. And people sometimes find it difficult to label me (thank God...). | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Don't be shocked by the pictures. They show the various aspects of my interests (to be honest with you, only my head is really mine...). And above all: I am a peaceful person with respect for other people and other ideas and I expect the same from others. Why did I choose for an adress in the Village? I guess because (most of the time)I expect to find a liberal attitute here.... I don't like labelling people and I don't believe in a strict separation between gays and straights. It's not black and white, there are all sorts of nuances in between. I consider myself as gay when asked. However I have been married and do have two daughters.... I didn't have a late "coming out", I was "out" before my marriage... I consider myself lucky to live and work in a surrounding where straight or gay isn't of any real importance. Well. fasten your seat belts..... | music (classical, opera), hardcore house music ("gabber"; 200 bpm with a heavy bass), film (old Italian films and Japanese classics), reading, writing, play a little piano, collecting uniforms, having fun with Photoshop, internetting, art in general, hanging out with friends, other people and cultures (especially Irish and Italian), and a strange fascination for the people of the Alp countries (you know: Lederhosen und so weiter...).
